Desert Silk/Baby Camel is one of our Italian Silks which we are proud to present in two weights: Select Lace, Sock weight and DK.  Because of the camel content, the yarn is naturally a tan color.

Desert Silk/Baby Camel is a blend of 50% Silk with 50% Baby Camel, and talk about soft!  This is a luscious yarn.  Camel and alpaca are classified as camilids, and share several qualities between the fibers, particularly the softness of touch, and the lack of lanolin.  So, if you love alpaca, you'll love baby camel.

Desert Silk Sock Weight is presented in 100 gr skeins of 438 yds,  4 ply.
